Steven Uranga serves as a Board Member of the Los Angeles City Employees Retirement System (LACERS) Board of Administration.

Mr. Uranga is a former Senior Management Analyst for the City of Los Angeles. He has served several Departments within the city including Recreation and Parks and Community Development Youth and Employment Services Division. Mr. Uranga has managed social service grant programs, including Federal Employment and Training programs designed to serve the economically disadvantaged, and over $160 million in capital improvement program grants for Recreation and Parks, such as Propositions A and K, FEMA Disaster Grant Recovery Program and the Community Development Block Grant program.

In addition to LACERS Board, Mr. Uranga serves on the Board of the Los Angeles City Employee Chicano Association (LACECA). He is a Business Administration graduate of Cal State Los Angeles and served in the United States Air Force.
