Request For Proposal For Financial Education Provider

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR FINANCIAL EDUCATION PROVIDER
Dear Proposer:
The Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System (LACERS) is seeking proposals from
financial planning education firms that specialize in providing independent, unbiased retirement
planning seminars to public pension systems. The selected firm will be paid for their services
and no business solicitation of seminar attendees will be permitted.
The selected firm will provide beginning, intermediate, and advanced mid-career retirement
planning seminars on a monthly basis to groups of approximately 40 active City employees per
seminar. The selected firm should be available for presentations to, and consultations with,
LACERS staff on issues pertaining to their services.
Those interested in providing these services must submit a proposal in accordance with the
instructions found in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP). The RFP and other associated
documents may also be downloaded from LACERS’ website at www.lacers.org.
Please submit five (5) copies of your proposals and one (1) soft copy on disk or CD by Friday,
July 13, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. to:
