As LACERS’ Principal Accountant, Mikyong Jang oversees the Fiscal Management Section and serves as LACERS’ Chief Accounting Employee. She has worked at LACERS since 1998, and previously served as an Investment Accountant and a Senior Accountant responsible for overseeing three accounting units. Prior to joining the City, Ms. Jang worked for a local CPA firm.

Ms. Jang earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Washington at Seattle. She holds a California Certified Public Accountant license and a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
