LACERS currently offers:

Planning for Retirement Seminars - a half-day seminar that covers LACERS' retirement formula, your benefits, financial planning, nutrition, and more. Retirement seminars are normally scheduled two times per month -- on a Friday and the following Saturday. Seminar times are 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. You may also arrange for a seminar in your department if you have at least 30 people who will attend.

Lunchtime Lecture Series - a series of hour-long seminars (held during lunch hour) that focus on particular topics related to LACERS benefits or retirement planning.

Caregiving Seminar - a seminar dedicated to matters related to caring for loved ones who can not care for themselves. Topics discussed include wills, living trusts, powers of attorney, and more.

Long-Term Care Insurance Seminar - a seminar that discusses the importance of including Long Term Care Insurance as part of your retirement planning. You will have the opportunity to hear presentations from different insurance companies.

Medicare Seminar - a seminar targeted towards those aged 64 or older. This seminar discusses the process of enrollment in Medicare and the Medicare requirements of LACERS' health plans.
