Plan Choices
You may choose one of the Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) health care plans or the Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) option. For your dental needs LACERS offers a PPO Plan and a Prepaid Plan. LACERS also offers a Vision Care Benefit and Hearing Aid Benefit. Refer to the charts in the Benefits Guide to compare health care plans.

Medical Plan Premium Reimbursement Program
The Medical
Premium Reimbursement Program (MPRP) is
available to Retirees or Surviving Spouses/Qualified
Domestic Partners who live outside of California
or within California but outside of Kaiser, Blue
Cross HMO, Secure Horizons, or SCAN authorized zip
code service area.
