The City Council confirmed Steven Uranga, Mayor Villaraigosa’s appointment to the Board of Administration, for a term ending
June 30, 2010. Uranga serves on the Benefits Administration and the Audit and Strategic Planning Standing Committees.

Commissioner Eric L. Holoman has been reappointed to the LACERS Board of Administration for a term ending June 30, 2012.

Commissioner Eric L. Holoman and Commissioner Shelley I. Smith were unanimously elected Board President and Board Vice President, respectively, for the 2007-2008 fiscal year.

LACERS portfolio for the 2006-07 fiscal year reported a 19.5% return - making this the 4th straight year that LACERS has exceeded the policy benchmark.
