October Community Meetings

Each year, we sponsor Community Meetings during October to assist LACERS Members in reviewing our health plan offerings and educating Members on current health care issues of interest to them. Your feedback tells us the meetings were helpful. This year, the meetings will include:
- Presentations about insurance coverage by Health Plan Providers (All locations)
- Screenings for blood pressure, body fat, and grip strength
- Presenters that will discuss how you can prepare for second career opportunities and volunteer work (Downtown LA meeting).
We may have new plan offerings for Plan Year 2005. We encourage you to reserve a space to attend these meetings, which will be scheduled for Downtown Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Pomona, and Las Vegas. Space is limited for certain presentations. Telephone LACERS at (800) 779-8328 by July 31st for additional information and to make your reservations. You will receive a confirmation for the meetings by mid-September.
