Michael F. Keeley currently serves as a Board Member of the Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System (LACERS).  Appointed to the Board in January 2012, his current term expires June 30, 2014.

Keeley was an advisor to Mayor Villaraigosa from 2007 to 2010.  Prior to that, he served as Deputy Mayor in charge of the city’s general fund budget during Mayor Richard Riordan’s administration.  After leaving City service, he continued to work closely with Mayor Riordan on the Mayor’s initiative to revise the Los Angeles City Charter, passed by the voters in April 1999.

Keeley graduated from the University of Notre Dame, and received his J.D. from the University of Michigan.  He is a member of the State Bar of California, and the American and Los Angeles County Bar Associations.
