The Personnel Department, Employee Benefits Division, and Employee Assistance Program provided by MHN are hosting two online seminars (webinars) for City employees. The first webinar will be held on October 4th on the topic of Estate Planning (Wills & Trusts) and the second webinar will be held on October 19th on the topic of Powers of Attorney/Advanced Directives (Living Wills). Both webinars will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. The session is one hour and free to City employees and LACERS Members.

In addition to on-site and web trainings, the Employee Assistance Program also provides limited financial, legal, work-related, and personal assistance free to active, civilian employees with Flex Benefits. As a reminder, annual Open Enrollment in October is your opportunity to make changes to your Flex Benefits. To make changes to your benefi ts for 2012, go to www.myflexla.com during Open Enrollment. If you do not have Internet access, you can contact the Benefi ts Service Center at (800) 778-2133. The Personnel Department will mail additional information about the 2012 Annual Open Enrollment in late September.
