Service/Service Credit Purchases and Your ERIP Retirement

You may purchase Service Credit to increase your retirement allowance through:

• Back Contributions
• Government Service Buybacks (including Uncompensated Maternity Leaves)
• Public Service Buyback
• Re-deposits

Keep in mind you must complete your purchase before your Retirement Effective Date and it may be too late to initiate such a purchase.

NOTE: Your Retirement Effective Date will not be changed to accommodate a Service Credit Purchase.
