LACERS UPCOMING WINTER HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

In observance of the upcoming holidays, please be aware of the following changes to LACERS’ services. We thank you for your understanding and wish you a joyful holiday season!  

The LACERS Front Desk and 800 Phone Line will be unavailable on the following dates: 

  • November 24–26 
  • December 24, 26, 29, 30, 31, and January 2

During these times, Members may still reach us via: lacers.services@lacers.org, and voicemail messages will be monitored and responded to as soon as possible. 

LACERS will be completely closed, and all services will be unavailable on: 

  • November 27 and 28 
  • December 25 
  • January 1 

RETIRING ONLINE IS EASY—ANY TIME OF YEAR

Planning to retire soon? The LACERS Retirement Application Portal (RAP) offers a secure and convenient way for eligible Members—those applying for a Tier 1 Normal or Tier 1 Early Service Retirement—to submit their retirement application online.

FAMILY DEATH BENEFIT PLAN (FDBP): ADDED PROTECTION FOR YOUR LOVED ONES

The Family Death Benefit Plan (FDBP) is a voluntary program designed to provide your family with a monthly financial benefit if you pass away before retirement—offering added peace of mind and financial security.

Employees become eligible to enroll after completing 18 months of City service. Participation comes at a low cost per pay period.

UPCOMING BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION MEETING

Please be advised that the Board meetings originally scheduled for November 25 and December 23 have been canceled. The only meeting in December will be held on Tuesday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m.
