LACERS Retired Members Update for November
OPEN ENROLLMENT HAS ENDED
November 17 was the final day to make changes to your LACERS health and dental plans during the Open Enrollment period. Any changes submitted by that date will take effect on January 1, 2026.
Unless you experience a qualifying life event, your next opportunity to make changes to your LACERS health or dental coverage will be during the 2027 Open Enrollment period.
2026 HEALTH BENEFITS GUIDE UPDATE
LACERS recently discovered that our office stock of the 2026 Health Benefits Guide included a significant number of Guides with missing pages. In an abundance of caution, we are asking our Members to please check the Guide that they received in October with their Open Enrollment packet. If your Guide is missing pages, please contact LACERS Health at: LACERS.Health@lacers.org with the subject line: 2026 Health Benefits Guide Missing Pages, or call our Member Service Center at (800) 779-8328, and LACERS will make arrangements to have a corrected Guide mailed to you. In the meantime, you can access the 2026 Health Benefits Guide here. We apologize for any inconvenience.
LACERS UPCOMING WINTER HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
In observance of the upcoming holidays, please be aware of the following changes to LACERS’ services. We thank you for your understanding and wish you a joyful holiday season!
The LACERS Front Desk and 800 Phone Line will be unavailable on the following dates:
- November 24–26
- December 24, 26, 29, 30, 31, and January 2
During these times, Members may still reach us via: lacers.services@lacers.org, and voicemail messages will be monitored and responded to as soon as possible.
LACERS will be completely closed, and all services will be unavailable on:
- November 27 and 28
- December 25
- January 1
UPCOMING BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION MEETING
Please be advised that the Board meetings originally scheduled for November 25 and December 23 have been canceled. The only meeting in December will be held on Tuesday, December 9, at 10:00 a.m.
