LACERS OPEN ENROLLMENT HEALTH PLAN CHANGES BECOME EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2026
LACERS’ Open Enrollment period ended November 17, and applications for health plan changes for the 2026 plan year are no longer being accepted.
LACERS Retired Members Update for November
OPEN ENROLLMENT HAS ENDED
November 17 was the final day to make changes to your LACERS health and dental plans during the Open Enrollment period. Any changes submitted by that date will take effect on January 1, 2026.
Unless you experience a qualifying life event, your next opportunity to make changes to your LACERS health or dental coverage will be during the 2027 Open Enrollment period.

REMINDER: LACERS 2026 OPEN ENROLLMENT ENDS NOVEMBER 17
LACERS is accepting applications for health plan changes and new enrollments from October 15 to November 17, 2025. Changes made during this period will become effective on January 1, 2026. If you do not wish to make changes, no action is required; your current LACERS health coverage will continue for the 2026 plan year.

SECURE DOCUMENT UPLOAD IS THE WAY TO SEND DOCUMENTS TO LACERS
Sending important forms and documents to LACERS via email is no longer the safest way. Instead, use our Secure Document Upload feature available on our website. It’s convenient, encrypted for safety, and ensures your submission is properly received and recorded.

LACERS OPEN ENROLLMENT IS OCTOBER 15 – NOVEMBER 17
From October 15, 2025, to November 17, 2025, LACERS is accepting applications for new enrollments, health plan changes, and the addition of eligible dependents. Changes made during this period will become effective on January 1, 2026. If you wish to keep your current LACERS health coverage for 2026, you do not need to take any action. LACERS recommends reviewing the Open Enrollment materials to stay informed of your benefit options and costs.

5K HIKE-WALK-RUN
Join us for a fun and energizing 5K walk/run at Lacy Park (1485 Virginia Road, San Marino) on Tuesday, November 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This event will be led by Sean Foy, facilitator of our LACERS Well ”Stronger U Academy.”
