Open Enrollment is October 15 – November 17, 2025
LACERS will accept applications for health plan changes, addition of eligible dependents, and new enrollments from October 15, 2025, to November 17, 2025. Changes made during this period will become effective on January 1, 2026. If you do not wish to change plans or add dependents, no action is required; your current LACERS health coverage will continue for the 2026 plan year.

The 2026 Open Enrollment packets will be mailed in early October to your address on file in LACERS’ system as of August 19, 2025.
For Members aged 65 or over, the Open Enrollment packet will include:
- 2026 Open Enrollment Statement
- 2026 Health Benefits Guide
- 2026 Open Enrollment Overview
For Members under age 65, or those only enrolled in a LACERS dental plan, participants in the LACERS Medical Premium Reimbursement Program, or individuals not enrolled in a LACERS plan, the packet will include:
- 2026 Open Enrollment Statement
- 2026 Open Enrollment Overview

Attend an In-Person or Virtual Open Enrollment Meeting
If you are considering changing your health or dental plan, LACERS encourages you to attend an Open Enrollment meeting to learn more about benefit plan options and ask questions directly to LACERS and plan carrier representatives. Registration begins September 12. Register through your MyLACERS account or by calling LACERS at (800) 779-8328. Registration confirmations will be emailed to your email address on file with LACERS.
