Protecting your personal information is as important to LACERS as it is to you. With this in mind, on November 1, 2021, LACERS will launch a new email communication platform that provides added safeguards when corresponding with our Members. The new platform meets industry standards for protecting personal identifiable information content by encrypting email attachments you receive from LACERS. Members who receive email attachments with confidential information will receive them in a two-step process. First, a notification email will be sent informing the member that a confidential document has been made available via a secure link. Second, the member will receive an additional email with a passcode that will enable the member to access the document. Both emails will be sent from a lacers.org email account.
