To ensure the safety of our members and to comply with the
current Safer at Home Order issued by the Mayor, the method by
which ballots will be accepted has been adjusted for the upcoming
LACERS Board Election.
Ballots for the LACERS Board Election will
only be accepted through the mail. You
must complete your ballot and return it in the envelope provided.
To be counted, ballots must be received by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday,
April 21, 2020.
The City Clerk – Election Division is closed to the public. If
you damage, spoil, lose, or do not receive your official ballot,
please contact the Office of the City Clerk – Election Division
at (213) 978-0440. If you retired after March 18, 2020 and wish
to vote, you must obtain a certificate verifying your eligibility
to vote from LACERS by calling (800) 779-8328 or RTT (888)
Ballots will be tallied on Thursday, April 23,
2020, and the results will be posted to lacers.org once
