NEW EASY WAY TO GO PAPERLESS: OPT OUT OF RECEIVING PRINTED DIRECT DEPOSIT STATEMENTS BY MAIL

LACERS Retired Members and beneficiaries can now choose to stop receiving printed direct deposit statements by mail. Switching to digital delivery gives you faster, safer, and more convenient access to your payment information — all through your MyLACERS account.

Here’s How to Update Your Delivery Preference:

  1. Log in to your MyLACERS account.
  2. Click your account name in the top right corner.
  3. Click on Account Settings.
  4. Under the E-Delivery, switch the Direct Deposit Receipts option to ON.

That’s it! Once enrolled, you’ll receive an email notification whenever a new statement is available in your MyLACERS account. To view paycheck flyers on our website, please visit the News section of the LACERS website.

If you need assistance, call us at (800) 779-8328.

DOCUMENT ACCESSIBILITY FOR ALL – NOW ON LACERS.ORG

We’re excited to announce that the LACERS website now features DocAccess, a new tool that enhances accessibility for every PDF document on our website.

What is DocAccess?

  • Accessible – Converts text into a clean, screen‑reader‑friendly format, provides detailed alt text for images, and transcribes complex tables.
  • Searchable – Allows you to quickly find the information you’re looking for within any document.
  • Assistive – Offers helpful features like enhanced screen‑reader support and simplified navigation.

With DocAccess, our documents are now more inclusive, user-friendly, and aligned with modern accessibility standards, helping all users get information faster and more easily. Watch a video describing DocAccess to learn more or explore the PDF documents on the LACERS website to see it in action. If you encounter any accessibility issues while using our website, please submit a Web Accessibility Issue Form, which can be found in the footer of our website and in our Web and Mobile App Accessibility Statement.

APRIL 22 IS EARTH DAY

Earth Day is a global reminder that the planet isn’t just a backdrop to our lives—it’s the foundation of everything we depend on. It pushes people, communities, and governments to reflect on how we treat the environment and to take action, whether that’s reducing waste, protecting ecosystems, or pushing for cleaner energy. At its core, Earth Day is about recognizing our shared responsibility and choosing to care for the world that sustains us.

UPCOMING BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION MEETING
