Notice of Mandatory Virtual Counseling Sessions and Resources
To ensure that all LACERS Peace Officer Members who are eligible for the transfer opportunity have access to the necessary information to make an informed decision that benefits them and their families, LACERS has added the following supplemental resources to the Measure FF webpage:

LACERS and LAFPP invite you to attend the ongoing series of virtual Measure FF Transfer Opportunity Counseling Sessions. These sessions began on November 10 and will end on January 5. Eligible PSOs can RSVP to attend one of these sessions by clicking on the training session that best suits their schedule.
To transfer from LACERS to LAFPP Tier 6, you must:
1) Attend a mandatory counseling session; and,
2) File an election form with LACERS by January 9, 2026.
Once the form is submitted, your election to transfer to LAFPP Tier 6 is irrevocable. Failure to submit your election form by the January 9, 2026, deadline will result in you remaining a LACERS Member by default. A digital copy of the Transfer Election Form, which can be electronically submitted, will be available after the first training session, at LACERS.ORG/FF.
As you consider meeting with LACERS staff to discuss your Measure FF options, please be aware of the following changes to LACERS’ services during the holiday season. The LACERS Front Desk and 800 Phone Line will be unavailable on the following dates:
- November 24–26
- December 24, 26, 29, 30, 31, and January 2
During these times, Members may still reach us via: lacers.services@lacers.org, and voicemail messages will be monitored and responded to as soon as possible.
LACERS will be completely closed, and all services will be unavailable on:
- November 27 and 28
- December 25
- January 1
