Award for Outstanding Achievement – LACERS’ inaugural Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) earned the Government Finance Officers Association’s award for Outstanding Achievement for three consecutive years (fiscal years ended 2019-2021). The prestigious PAFR Award program recognizes conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government popular reports. To receive this award, a government unit must publish a PAFR, whose contents conform to program standards of creativity, presentation, understandability and reader appeal. The PAFR summarizes and presents key financial information contained in LACERS Annual Financial Report, along with key statistics and facts, in an easy to read and understandable manner that includes multi-year graphs to show annual changes and trends.
