We are pleased to announce that the new online Retirement Application Portal (RAP) has launched! Tier 1 Members retiring in September 2021 and beyond can now apply for retirement using the secure and convenient portal.

Please note these key steps to take before accessing the RAP:

  • Download a Decision Sheet here and start to review the decisions you will be making.
  • If you have a MyLACERS account and don’t plan on leaving a continuance of more than 50%, you can download a retirement estimate at any time on your own.
  • 90 days prior to your anticipated retirement date, call LACERS at (800) 779-8328 to notify us of your intent to retire, to request an official retirement benefit estimate, and to register for Retirement Counseling and Health Counseling sessions.
