LACERS’ 2026 ANNUAL OPEN ENROLLMENT COMING SOON

The LACERS Open Enrollment period will be held from October 15 to November 17, 2025. Open Enrollment is your opportunity to enroll in a medical or dental plan, change your existing plan, or add dependents, with changes becoming effective January 1, 2026. Open Enrollment packets will be mailed in early October and will also be available online at lacers.org/health-benefits.

For Members under age 65 and non-Medicare, your packet will include a Health Plan Statement, Open Enrollment Overview, and instructions to access the 2026 Health Benefits Guide online. For Members age 65 and older with Medicare Part B or A & B, your packet will include a Health Plan Statement, Open Enrollment Overview, and 2026 Health Benefits Guide.

Please note that packets will be mailed to your correspondence address or, if none is listed, to your home address on file as of July 31, 2025. The packets will not be forwarded even if you have a US Postal Service forwarding order. If you do not receive your packet by October 20, please click here to view the 2026 Open Enrollment materials. If you would like a hard copy of the Open Enrollment packet, please email LACERS.Health@lacers.org with the subject line: “Requesting 2026 Open Enrollment Packet or Health Benefits Guide”, and one will be mailed to you, or call us at  (800) 779-8328.

Beginning in October, LACERS will host both in-person and virtual Open Enrollment meetings. If you are considering changing your medical or dental plan, we encourage you to attend one of these meetings. This is a great opportunity to learn more about LACERS’ benefit plan offerings and to ask questions directly to health plan representatives. Information about the Open Enrollment meetings will be available at LACERS.org. Meeting registration will start on September 12, and you can register via your MyLACERS account or by contacting LACERS.
