An annual eye exam can help you stay on top of healthy eye care. Don’t wait! Take care of your eyes this summer. LACERS Vision coverage is available for Members who participate in a LACERS-sponsored medical plan. Anthem Blue View Vision is available to Members who are enrolled in Anthem Blue Cross, SCAN Health Plan, or UnitedHealthcare. Members enrolled in a Kaiser Permanente plan are covered for vision services with Kaiser.

COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT EFFECTIVE JULY 1
The LACERS Board of Administration has approved the maximum allowable Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for eligible LACERS Retired Members and Beneficiaries at 3.0% for Tier 1 and Tier 1 Enhanced Members and 2.0% for Tier 3 Members.

This in-person event will cover topics such as Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, LACERS Special Durable Power of Attorney forms, and more. A light breakfast and lunch will be served. Opportunity drawings will take place during the event.

COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT EFFECTIVE JULY 1

On April 14, 2023, the LACERS Board introduced a request to the City Council to consider a Discretionary Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) for Retired Members and Beneficiaries (Council File # 23-0418) to help combat the high inflation experienced during the most recent fiscal year.

COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOP
Monday, May 8, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Almansor Court in Alhambra
In partnership with Mom’s Computer, a technology provider contracted by LACERS, this in-person workshop will show participants how to navigate the changing technology landscape and offer tips on using computers, smartphones/tablets, the Internet, and more. A light breakfast and lunch will be served. Opportunity drawings will take place during the event.

Please check in at our first-floor reception desk upon your arrival for assistance. All online services and virtual assistance remain available.
