The 2024 Health Benefits Guide Supplement contains information for retirees whose medical
subsidy was “capped” due to changes made to the Administrative
Code in 2011. Members who retired on or after July 1, 2011,
and did not make additional retirement
contributions toward retiree health care receive the 2011
subsidy rate.
